Project Details

The development comprised:

  • New 2 storey Villa/Apartments surrounded by a 480m continuous pool
  • Refurbishment of existing single and 2 storey apartments and commercial premises

Challenge Faced / Engineering Problem Solved:

  • Variable soil conditions subject the differential settlement
  • Large stormwater detention volumes required and achieved by utilising Atlantis Cell chambers for infiltration of stormwater
  • High corrosivity due to coastal exposure

  • Building supported on driven timber piles
  • Waffle pod foundation slabs
  • Conventional lightweight timber and steel framed buildings
