Matthew Gay

Director, Senior Structural and Civil Engineer

Matt has been with MPC since 2013 and is a Senior Engineer and Director. He brings 15+ years’ experience to our team.

Matt loves immersing himself in the details of a problem to develop the solution.  A key feature of his career to date was coming straight out of university and being part of the engineering team for The Newcastle Beach Royal Apartments which was such a major project for Newcastle at the time.  Matt is also particularly proud of his development as an engineer and becoming a Director.

Outside of work Matt is very passionate about his family and their home including the designing, documenting and building of their house renovation.

If Matt didn’t have to work he’d be a travel insta-famous and if he won $50m he would travel, do charity work and become Batman!
